In Lord of the Rings, the Herugrim sword was the weapon that Lord Theoden used to defend Helm’s Deep. King Theoden was the ruler or Rohan, who was corrupted by the evil wizard Saruman with the help of his servant Grima. It was only when Gandalf invoked the power of Theoden’s sword Herugrim to return to the ruler’s grasp did Theoden regain consciousness of himself as well as custody of this legendary sword.
This 36-inch long sword was crafted by United Cutlery to accurately imitate the actual prop that was used by Theoden in the Lord of the Rings series. The blade is 27 inches long and 1/4 inch thick. With the antique finish applied on its solid metal pummel, the sword really looks like the real thing.
The valiant Herugrim sword also comes with genuine leather wrapped grip and wooden handgrip. Aside from that, the sword also conveniently includes a parchment of certificate of authenticity to compliment the sword’s display. While the sword itself is not sharpened (false edged), the stainless steel metal gives it a genuine look. This item is one of the most beautiful sword in the Lord of the Rings collection.
